Last Call for Issue X!

After the past few months of going on and on about our special Tenth Anniversary Issue (“Issue X”), this email is the last call to pre-order! We will continue taking orders through this Sunday (the 27th), and after that, the final count goes to the printer. We will not keep this title in stock into the future – we are only printing enough copies to fulfill pre-orders (plus a few extra to fulfill lost or damaged shipments).

So, as you’ve already heard us explain, Issue X is standalone title, not included as part of an M&T subscription. This momentous 248-page edition is being published in addition to this year’s regular two issues. Domestic subscribers are eligible for free shipping when they use their Issue X discount code (if you don’t have that code on hand, reply to this email and Grace will set you up).

Are you as excited as we are about this? Check out the massive table of contents below:

Thank you for your support!

Those of you who have been around here a while know that we’re a small-scale team of friends who are passionate about craft – just the kind of crew that independent publishing needs to thrive in this crazy market. Mike, Grace, and I are so grateful for your support throughout our first decade of publishing. And, we have no intention to begin slowing down our efforts – there’s a lot more to come in the next years.

Any generation can find handcraft to be a bottomless source of inspiration for living well, but our current cultural moment is in desperate need of such grounded wisdom. We will not thrive by technologizing our lives away. We need more sleeves rolled up and busted knuckles. We need a little more craft in the world.

So, thank you again for supporting our efforts to celebrate this kind of timeless craftsmanship. Every single order you make propels our work forward. Issue X is underway. You will not be disappointed.

-Joshua
